  A pirate inside a pressurized diving bell faces a giant squid. In the background, the Midocean Ridges. Watercolor, Morris & Co.'s color palette.    The pirate doesn't have a traditional appearance; he looks more like a gold digger from the Wild West. And he's *inside* the pressurized diving bell. As for the style, you can innovate, improvise, and change the shape and colors, using as much creativity as possible.

    Ficção científica e humor raramente se encontram na literatura brasileira. Não existe em nossa FC um equivalente ao revolucionário Macunaíma , de Mario de Andrade, ou aos irreverentes O coronel e o lobisomem , de José Cândido de Carvalho, e O púcaro búlgaro , de Campos de Carvalho. O romance de ficção científica que mais se assemelha a esses, na verve e na qualidade poética, é certamente o ciberbarroco Piritas siderais , livro de estreia de Guilherme Kujawski.
